[Allah] asked, “O Iblîs! What is the matter with you that you did not join others in prostration?” [Iblis] said, “Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud.” [Allah] said, “Then get out from here (Paradise), for indeed, you are expelled. And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Judgement.” (Iblis) said: “O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day of their resurrection.”(Allah) said: “You are granted respite until the appointed Day.”
