By the sun and its brightness, and the moon as it follows it, and the day as it displays it, and the night as it covers it. And the heaven and He who constructed it, and the earth and He who spread it. And the soul and He who proportioned it, and inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and righteousness. Successful indeed whoever purifies it, and whoever corrupts it (neglects guidance) has failed.
