[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, “Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another.”

Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not

And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together everything in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant.

And they say, “Why was there not sent down to him an angel?” But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided; then they would not be reprieved. And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered

Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves – [the angels] will say, “In what [condition] were you?” They will say, “We were oppressed in the land.” The angels will say, “Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?” For those, their refuge is Hell – and

[Remember] when you said to the believers, “Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down? Yes, if you remain patient and fear Allah and the enemy come upon you suddenly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction],

How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and had witnessed that the Messenger is true and clear proofs had come to them? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. Those – their recompense will be that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and the people, all

Nor would he [the messenger] order you to take the angels and prophets as lords. Would he order you to disbelief after you had been Muslims?
