And who would tun away from the millat of Ibrahim, except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him (Ibrahim) in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, “Submit,” he said, “I have submitted to the Lord and Cherisher of all worlds.” This was the advice of Ibrahim—as well as Ya’qub—to his children, “Indeed, Allah has chosen for you this dīn; so do not die except while you are muslims (in submission to Allah).”
