الرَّحْمَٰنِ Ar-Raḥmān = The Most Gracious
الرَّحِيمِ Ar-Raḥīm = The Most Merciful
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Al-Fatihah 1
الْعَلِيمُ Al-ʿAlīm = The All Knowing
الْحَكِيمُ Al-Hakīm = The All Wise
They replied, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. You are truly the All-Knowing, All-Wise.” Al-Baqarah 32
التَّوَّابُ At-Tawāb = The Acceptor of Repentance
Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. Al-Baqarah 37
اَلْمُبْدِئ Al-Mubdi’ = The Originator, The Initiator
الْبَدِیعُ Al-Badi’ = The Incomparable, The Ever Innovating
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing. Al-An’am 101
Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is. Al-Baqarah 117
الْغَفُورُ Al-Ghafūr = The All Forgiving
الْحَلِيمُ Al-Halīm = The All Forbearing
Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts; and He is Oft-forgiving, All Forbearing. Al-Baqarah 225
الغفار Al-Ghaffār = The Perpetual Forgiver
But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance. Taha 82
