الضَّارَّ Ad-Darr = The Afflicter

النَّافِعُ An-Nāfiʿ = The Propitious

Say, “Do you worship besides Allah that which holds for you no [power of] harm or benefit while it is Allah who is the All Hearing, the All Knowing?” Al-Ma’idah 76

النَّصِيرُ An-Naṣīr = The Excellent Helper

الْمَوْلَىٰ Al-Mawlā = The Protector

O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers. But no! Allah is your protector, and He is the best of helpers. Ali ‘Imran 149-150

الْوَلِيُّ Al-Waliy = The Patron, The Ally, The Protecting Associate

Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darknesses into the light. And those who disbelieve – their allies are ṭāghūt. They take them out of the light into darknesses. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. Al-Baqarah 257

الصَّبورُ As-Sabur = The All Patient

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient. Al-Baqarah 153

النُّورُ An-Nur = The Light

They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. At-Tawbah 32

 الْحَمِيدُ Al-Hamīd = The All Praiseworthy, The Most Praiseworthy

 الْمَجِيدِ Al-Majīd = The All Glorious

She said, “Woe to me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman and this, my husband (Ibrahim), is an old man? Indeed, this is an amazing thing!” They said, “Are you amazed at the decree of Allah? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and All Glorious.” Hud 72-73
