الْكَبِيرُ Al-Kabīr = The Greatest
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Greatest, the Most Exalted. Ar-Ra’d 9
الْوَاحِدُ Al-Wāḥid = The One (God)
الْقَهَّارُ Al-Qahār = The Subjugator, The Prevailing
Say, “Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?” Say, “Allah.” Say, “Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?” Say, “Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?” Say, “Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing. Ar-Ra’d 16
الْمُؤَخِّرُ Al-Muakhkhir = The One who defers/delays
الْمُقَدِّمُ Al-Muqaddim = The One who expedites/advances
If Allah were to seize mankind for their wrongdoing, He would not have left a single living being on earth. But He delays them for an appointed term. And when their time arrives, they cannot delay it for a moment, nor could they advance it. An-Nahl 61
الْبَرُّ Al-Barr = The Righteous One
Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the wayfarer, those who ask [for help], and for freeing (necks) slaves; [and who] establishes salat and gives zakāh; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true (in faith), and it is those who are God fearing. Al Baqarah 177
الْوَارِثُ Al-Wārith = The Eternal Inheritor, The One who remains
Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned. Maryam 40
الْبَاقِي Al-Bāqī = The Ever lasting One
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and that sorcery you compelled us to practice. And Allah is Best and Ever lasting. Taha 73
