And whoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Gracious – We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion. And indeed, they [the devils] avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided.
By the clear scripture. Indeed, We have made it a Quran in Arabic so perhaps you will understand. And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Scripture with Us, exalted and full of wisdom. Then should We take the Reminder away from you, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people?
Indeed, those who disbelieve in the Reminder after it has come to them [are doomed]. And indeed, it is a mighty Scripture. Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from the All Wise and Most Praiseworthy.
So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islām and a light from his Lord is upon him [like one whose heart is hardened]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are clearly astray.Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book and oft-repeated [lessons].
And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. You can only warn one who follows the Reminder and fears the Most Gracious without seeing Him. So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a noble reward.
Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed in that is a sign for the mu’mineen. Recite, [O Muḥammad], what has been revealed to you of the Scripture and establish salat. Indeed, salat prohibits immorality and evildoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
And [mention] the Day when the heaven will split open with [emerging] clouds, and the angels will be sent down, descending [in ranks]. True sovereignty, that Day, belongs to the Most Gracious. And it will be a difficult Day upon the disbelievers. And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche within which is a lamp; the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a brilliant star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even
