الْمَتِينُ Al-Matīn = The Firm One
Indeed, it is Allah who is the All Provider, the firm possessor of strength. Adh-Dhariyat 58
الْخَافِضُ Al-Khāfiḍ = The One who debases/lowers
It will bring down [some] and raise up [others] Al-Waqi’ah 3
الرَّافِعُ Ar-Rafīʿ = The One who raises/elevates
And that was Our argument which We gave Ibrahim against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing. Al-An’am 83
العَفُوُّ Al-ʿAfuw = The Forgiver, The Pardoner
And if you ask them, they will surely say, “We were only conversing and playing.” Say, “Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking? Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you – We will punish another faction because they were criminals. At-Tawbah 65-66
الْقُدُّوسُ Al-Qudūs = The All Holy, The Holy One
السَّلَامُ As-Salām = The Giver of Peace
الْمُؤْمِنُ Al-Mu’min = The Grantor of Security, The Guardian of faith
الْمُهَيْمِنُ Al-Muhaymin = The Dominant, The Supreme Hegemony
الْجَبَّارُ Al-Jabār = The Compeller, The Irresistible One
الْمُتَكَبِّرُ Al-Mutakabir = The Possessor of greatness
الْبَارِئُ Al-Bāri = The Inventor
He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Giver of Peace, the Grantor of Security, the Supreme Hegemony, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Most Superior. Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the most beautiful names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the All Wise. Al-Hashr 23–24
