And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [the Reminder]. So ask the people of the Reminder if you do not know. [We sent them] with clear proofs and scriptures. And We revealed to you the reminder [the Qur’ān] that you may make clear to the people what was sent down […]
They say, “O you to whom the Reminder [Qur’an] is sent down! You must be mad! Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful?” We do not send down the angels except with truth; and they [the disbelievers] would not then be given respite. Indeed, it is We who
Allah extends provision and restricts [it] for whom He wills. And they [disbelievers] rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment. And those who disbelieve say, “Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?” Say, [O Muḥammad], “Indeed, Allah leaves
[Mention] when Allah said, “O ‘Isa, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who followed you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which
Nuh said, Rabbi innahum ‘asawnee wattaba’oo man lam yazidhu maluhu wawaladuhu illa khasara wamakaroo makran kubbara “My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss, and they have devised a tremendous plot, Waqaloo la tatharunna alihatakum wala tatharunna waddan wala suwa’an wala yaghootha
And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Fir’awn, when she said, Rabbi ibni lee ‘indaka baytan fee aljannati wanajjinee min fir’awna wa’amalihi wanajjinee mina alqawmi aththalimeen “My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Fir’awn and his deeds and save me from the
O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before their hands and on their right;
O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that – then those are the losers. And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, Rabbi lawla akhkhartanee ila
