Nuh said,
Rabbi innahum ‘asawnee wattaba’oo man lam yazidhu maluhu wawaladuhu illa khasara wamakaroo makran kubbara
“My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss, and they have devised a tremendous plot,
Waqaloo la tatharunna alihatakum wala tatharunna waddan wala suwa’an wala yaghootha waya’ooqa wanasra
and said, ‘Never leave your idols and never leave Wadd or Suwāʿ or Yaghūth and Yaʿūq and Nasr.’
Waqad adalloo katheeran wala tazidi aththalimeena illa dalala
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error.”
Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. And Nuh said,
Rabbi latathar ‘ala al-ardi mina alkafireena dayyara Innaka in tatharhum yudilloo ‘ibadaka wala yalidoo illa fajiran kaffara
“My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant. For, if You leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Your servants, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones.
Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya mu/minan walilmu/mineena walmu/minati wala tazidi aththalimeena illa tabaran
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.”
