O you who wraps himself [in clothing], stand [to pray] at night, except for a little. Half of it, or subtract from it a little. Or add to it, and recite the Qur’ān with measured rhytmic recitation. Indeed, We will cast upon you a weighty word (revelation). Indeed, the rising (to pray) at night is

And if there was any Qur’ān by which the mountains would be removed or the earth would be cloven asunder or the dead would be made to speak, [it would be this Qur’ān], but to Allah belongs the command entirely. Then have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would have guided
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration [in prayer].
