Say [O Prophet], “The angel of death, who has been put in charge of you, will take your soul. Then to your Lord you will be returned.” If you could only see when the wicked are hanging their heads before their Lord, [saying],
Rabbana absarna wasami’na faarji’na na’mal salihan inna mooqinoon
“Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so return us [to the world]; we will do righteous [deeds]. Indeed, we are [now] certain.”
And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together. So taste [punishment] because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours; indeed, We have forgotten you. And taste the punishment of eternity for what you used to do.
