Ash-Shu’ara 75-89

He [Ibrahim] said, “Then do you see what you have been worshipping, you and your ancestors ? Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds, the One who created me, and He guides me. And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink. And when I am ill, then He cures me. And [He is] the One who will cause me to die and bring me back to life. And [He is] the One who I aspire will forgive my faults on the Day of Judgement.

Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqnee bissaliheen Waj’al lee lisana sidqin fee al-akhireen

Waj’alnee min warathati jannati anna’eem Waghfir li-abee innahu kanamina addalleen

And make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. And forgive my father. Indeed, he is among those who are astray.

Wala tukhzinee yawma yub’athoon yawma la yanfa’u malun walabanoon

And do not disgrace me on the Day all will be resurrected, the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit.

Illa man ata Allaha biqalbin saleem

Except [one] who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”
